Ghostwriting

Ghostwriting icon (ghost)Ghostwriters (also called collaborators) help authors find their voice and develop their ideas, as well as write much of the manuscript for them. Ghostwriters are hired for every type of writing—fiction, nonfiction, memoir, blogging, web copy, reports, articles—and for any length of manuscript. They may work very closely with an author or with a minimal amount of input. The writing may be based on research, interviews, the author's own writing, or any other type of raw material. The ghostwriter's job is different from that of an editor or writing coach. It is up to the ghostwriter to write the manuscript and, with the author's approval, produce a finished product that is ready to be published.
