Her book, The Digital Mystique, published by Seal Press (Hachette), became an Amazon bestseller in multiple categories, including Media and Communications, and was recognized by the ASJA. She has contributed to multiple additional books as an essayist and chapter author.

Sarah’s article publishing credits include Harvard Business Review, Slate, SFGate, Inverse, The Huffington Post, and LA Weekly. She has interviewed global leaders in media, entertainment, technology, finance, and government, including U.S. Senators, Oscar winners, and Fortune100 CEOs. She has been credentialed press at The White House. Her articles have been republished in multiple languages and included as required reading in university courses.

She has edited and proofread nonfiction books on technical, legal, business, and publishing topics, working with authors and publishers, including Wiley & Sons, O'Reilly, Osborne Press, and McGraw-Hill. She has served in content and editorial roles in technology and media companies, like BlogHer (SHE Media, acquired by Penske Media), where the community reached 100 million+. As a content strategist, she has launched dozens of digital channels, including websites, newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and video series. She has also provided digital content trainings for national organizations including the Women’s Media Center and the U.S. State Department.

Sarah is also a novelist, as well as a produced screenwriter and playwright. She gravitates toward dramatic and genre narratives, including science fiction, fantasy, and action thrillers, but is also a sucker for romantic comedies. She has edited and proofread genre stories, children’s books, novellas, and novels.

She has been a speaker at notable media and publishing conferences including Exceptional Women in Publishing, South by Southwest Interactive, Innovational Journalism, Women’s National Book Association, the 3% Conference, and the San Francisco Writers’ Conference. She is an alumna of the University of Michigan.
